HOP-E Foundation is a foundation based in the Philppines whose mandate and goal is to overcome poverty thru the 4 elements - Education, Empowerment, Employment, and Events.Started from the heart, this vision was birthed right in the garbage dump when Jayjay Lizarondo, Hop-E founder, saw the plight of many impoverished and poor kids. He found a way to helped the kids in the dump site. This is where he met and helped Mary Rose. MaryRose was sent to school and was given a new house to live with his family.From Mary Rose, the vision grew bigger and it helped a community in the mountains of Rizal. Hop-e was established and formally founded in 2006.Hop-e now is giving free education for the children and parents in the mountains of Rizal and is also helping augment the livelihood of the people by giving them work through the Hop-E farm. Hop-e is also active in giving medical help and feeding program for various communities.The goal of hop-e is to provide free education to children believing that education is the key to eradicate poverty in the Philippines. As of now, Hop-E Academy has 200 children being given with free education. Hop-e's goal is to have 1000 children before 2013.The process of Hop-E in generating help for the children and its advocacy is not just in the means of donation but mainly thru investment. One can choose to invest through Hop-e farming and other livelihood program. Even sending a child to school is a means of investment in the lives of the children.Partner with us.Be hop-e by making someone hop-e.Together, let us help overcome poverty.
